Carter Stuart is a portrait painter and watercolorist based in Richmond, VA.  With a degree in Graphic Design and Painting/Drawing from Anderson University she has enjoyed many avenues in art that include photography, teaching, art history and more.  Carter's art has evolved over time to become more narrative, with her paintings and illustrations capturing the delights and ironies of everyday life and has recently published her first children's book.
